Thank you for your thoughtful response. You might be right. What bothers me in particular is the irony, though…that the actual tenets of what Jesus taught are so often opposite of what comes forth from the church itself. And the last thing the church *should* be is homogenous, and the fact that it often is is part of the problem. Honored you read my article.
