Ope, I enjoyed your article! My advice, and this is just a mindset shift, is this: think of your job as what earns you the time and money to do what you really want!

A lot of young people get stuck early on looking for meaning and fulfillment in a career — and very few find it at this stage in life. That doesn’t mean it’s not out there, but at the same time, don’t wait for it to ‘happen’ to you. Give yourself a hard-and-fast deadline to find a job in the area you want (writing,) but if you can’t find a job by then, just take what you can get. Work hard and hustle your talents on the side. No time is wasted if you spend it purposefully. There are skills and disciplines, writing-wise, you can develop and hone until that great opportunity opens up for you.

Best of luck to you!!!
