I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this, Mary. It was truly heartbreaking. About a month after we returned Java, we brought home Maxie Mae. This puppy has been the light of our lives. She’s spunky, super intelligent, and the most loving and devoted dog you could imagine. I don’t know if another puppy is in your future, but I thought I’d share this as encouragement.
